Responsibilities:

    • Leading the logistics team responsible for the flow of raw materials from origin hubs to manufacturing sites, ensuring high service levels while optimizing costs
    • Overseeing logistics budget execution and implementing supply planners’ recommendations to mitigate potential supply gaps
    • Acting as the primary escalation point for all logistics-related matters and ensuring clear, accurate communication and thorough documentation of logistics processes
    • Managing, developing, and engaging direct and indirect team members, with a strong focus on capability building and people growth
    • Driving continuous improvement initiatives, defining standards, and enhancing team efficiency and productivity
    • Cooperating closely with internal and external stakeholders to secure reliable and uninterrupted supply flow

Requirements:

    • University degree (Master’s degree preferred)
    • Professional experience in commodity logistics or supply chain management
    • Fluency in English
    • Experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP
    • Proven involvement in projects focused on logistics cost optimization and/or service level improvement
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset
    • Demonstrated leadership experience and a track record of building high-performing teams
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to tailor key messages to diverse stakeholder groups
