Responsibilities:
- Leading the logistics team responsible for the flow of raw materials from origin hubs to manufacturing sites, ensuring high service levels while optimizing costs
- Overseeing logistics budget execution and implementing supply planners’ recommendations to mitigate potential supply gaps
- Acting as the primary escalation point for all logistics-related matters and ensuring clear, accurate communication and thorough documentation of logistics processes
- Managing, developing, and engaging direct and indirect team members, with a strong focus on capability building and people growth
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives, defining standards, and enhancing team efficiency and productivity
- Cooperating closely with internal and external stakeholders to secure reliable and uninterrupted supply flow
Requirements:
- University degree (Master’s degree preferred)
- Professional experience in commodity logistics or supply chain management
- Fluency in English
- Experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP
- Proven involvement in projects focused on logistics cost optimization and/or service level improvement
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset
- Demonstrated leadership experience and a track record of building high-performing teams
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to tailor key messages to diverse stakeholder groups
